From 2018 to 2019, AGZ signed its first commercial contract with a local refinery in Shandong Province to provide the DiSep^® electroseparation system, including 3 DiSep^® electroseparation modules and peripheral facilities, which are directly connected to the catalytic cracking unit (FCC) fractionation column slurry outflow pipeline, with an annual oil slurry processing capacity of 50,000 tons. The system significantly reduces the solids content of the slurry from 2000-3000 ppm to less than 100 ppm, and the clarified oil is used as a blend for delayed coking, backrefining or vacuum distillation.
