Marine fuel oil blending feedstock
From 2012 to 2022, AGZ entered Sinopec's main refinery and completed the industrial trial of 2 DiSep® electroseparation modules to process FCC oil slurry. After the successful test and identification, AGZ became the exclusive supplier of DiSep® electroseparation technology services of the Petrochemical Company, and the two parties signed a long-term oil slurry processing service contract. AGZ specially designed the DiSep® electric separation system, 9 modules are installed in the designated area of the Petrochemical Company in a skid, and the world's first oil slurry backwashing technology is adopted, with an oil slurry treatment capacity of 150,000 tons/year. The system has been running stably since July 2022, effectively removing catalyst fines and other solid pollutants in the oil slurry to less than 100ppm, of which the silicon-aluminum content (Al+Si) is less than 60ppm, and the clarified oil slurry is used by the Petrochemical Company to blend marine fuel oil RME180. Thanks to the stable and ultra-low silicon-aluminum content of the clarified oil slurry, the Petrochemical Company has increased the blending ratio of the clarified oil slurry to 25%, and even replaced the light and higher value components (slag reduction, etc.) with the clarified oil to blend the ship's fuel, obtaining economic benefits of more than 100 million yuan/year. This is the world's first DiSep® electric separation system that uses oil slurry feed backwashing, the oil slurry feed is converted into clarified oil output for blending ship fuel , the system is fully automatic operation, and is integrated with the Petrochemical Company DCS system, each module can be cut out for on-site maintenance, and then re-online operation, without affecting continuous production. AGZ has also introduced rapid measurement methods and equipment for the solid content of oil slurry, which can monitor the solid content of clarified oil slurry in quasi-real time on site, so as to quickly and effectively adjust the process and operating parameters and maintain the safety (safety), stability (stability), long (long-term), full (full load), and excellent (high-quality products) of the operation of the DiSep® electric separation system!
